Day 94
Juice time is Wylie's favorite (and mine), because it means break-time for mama. He actually went a month without wanting to drink any juice (I'd offer apple juice or sometimes just water, on occasion and he would just chew on the spout). I decided to offer prune juice because he had that when he was only a few months old, and he downed it! I don't plan to make this a daily thing, but if I need a break, I know what calms him down for a few minutes.
Day 93
Today my mom and I worked on packing. We pulled the swing out of storage to pack up some other items and Wylie was so excited! This was probably one of our best investments, he has been so entertained by this swing! He really wanted to be in it and enjoyed playing with the toys on tray (which we never used because he couldn't reach it before). I had to take him out when he started grabbing at the mobile.
Day 91
Wylie is too smart for his own good. He figure out that if he stepped on the box he could get even higher and had a better chance of grabbing the flashing lights on the internet box! I took the box away after this, but now he's learning to pull his knees onto the shelf you see in the right of the picture. To say I have my hands full is an understatement!
Day 90
I promised on my other blog top post pics of the swimsuits I decided on. This is one of them and I love how it fits. I think it's sexy without being over-the-top. I will say that a one-piece actually draws more attention to my stomach than a bikini or tankini would, at least one-pieces with smooth fabric. I really love this suit (and the other one, which I will take a picture of later) which is from Lands' End Canvas.

Day 87
I've been using this product for awhile now, but I thought I'd finally feature it. It's called Herbalism and my mom got it from Lush while shopping in Canada. I absolutely love how it has helped my skin. It's bit messy to use (it's just a big chunk of this green grainy stuff) but I highly recommend their products. (It's handmade!)

Day 86
I have probably created a bad habit in having the TV on sometimes, but Wylie doesn't watch it much and when you're home all day (and some nights) by yourself, it's nice to have the company. This has been Wylie's newest way of watching TV...way too close! I pull him off of the TV stand probably 50 times a day! As long as he isn't climbing on it or touching the TV (or the XBOX), I generally just let him go because it's nearly impossible to keep him off of it.
Day 85
Tuesday, Wylie and I met up with my BFF at Sonic. Our friendship pretty much revolves around Sonic drinks..and I wouldn't have it any other way! This is my favorite picture from the day (although, admittedly, it was a pic Holly took, not me). You can read the blog she posted about our day here.
Day 84
Aaron planted a bunch of veggies this year, and he's been so proud of how well they are doing. I have loved eating cherry tomatoes and the peppers! Sadly a bad storm came through Monday night (the night after I took this photo) and broke our cherry plant in half :( Aaron was kinda sad the next morning, and I don't blame him! There were over 50 unripened tomatoes on the plant and now they are all dead.
He also has planted 3 jalapenos; green, red, and orange bell peppers, cubanelle, and sweet banana peppers (thankfully all of these survived).

Day 80
This morning the little dude was climbing on and into everything. Today he figured out how to climb onto the changing table! I was right behind him in case he fell, but he did pretty good figuring it out on his own! Nothing is safe in our home anymore, thankfully we'll be moving to my parents and their house is a little safer!
Day 79
Wednesday night was rough for us. Wylie is up every hour, standing in his crib, screaming. We've tried letting him go to see if he'll fall back asleep, but after 3 nights we've had no luck. I'm doing some research and we'll be trying out some new things. Once I finally got him out of the crib (he had been screaming for his 2nd set of 10 minutes) it took me about an hour to calm him down. He and I laid on the couch and watched TV until he finally fell asleep around 1. He was so peaceful, though, and so I don't want to do the CIO method anymore. He's too cute to get all worked up :)

Day 76
I know you really can't see whats going on in this picture. We have terrible lighting in our home. Aaron and Wylie were playing ball with each other! Aaron would roll the ball to Wylie and he was giggling away when it would get to him (a few times he actually did catch it!) It was so cute to watch :)

Day 74
Day 73
The Ocean Soother is Wylie's new favorite toy! We used it when he was first born, but then the batteries went dead and only recently put new ones in. Unfortunately it's more of a distraction than something that soothes so we've stopped using it for naps and bedtime. Instead, I use it as a distraction if I need to get a few things done! I imagine this will be what I'll use to get a shower, as the bouncer is really too small for him.
(He has figured out how to turn it on and off, by accident I'm sure, but it's cute to watch him figure it out)

Day 70
Happy 4th of July! Today Aaron and I took Wylie swimming in a lake. It was my first time in a bathing suit since Wylie's been born, but all was well. Wylie loved floating in the water and splashing around. I imagine he'll love the ocean when we go in a few weeks. I'm so glad we got to spend our day together as a family of 3 :)
