Day 12

Today you visited Aunt Abbie'ss ducks! You were so fascinated by them and followed them all over the bin. I didn't trust you to touch one (not to mention they're super germy) but they definitely held your attention! Makes me very excited to take you to the zoo tomorrow for Mother's Day :)

Day 11

We bought a new vehicle! We traded in my G6 and decided to get a more family-friendly vehicle. I don't love the thought that we are making a car payment again as we had paid off the car in March, but I realllly love my Rav4! We should have this for a good while now, and it'll be perfect as we add to our family in the near future (okay, so not that near). Also, this is our first non-General Motors vehicle (I've had 2 Chevys and a Pontiac, Aaron has had a Chevy and a Pontiac and he currently drives a Chevy truck).

Day 10

Today has two pics because I couldn't choose a favorite! Wylie and I hung out with two of my dear friends at Sonic and enjoyed the beautiful sun :) He was such a good boy and really enjoyed being outside, I think. I cannot wait for it to get even warmer and we can be outside without worrying about the wind!

Day 9

Yesterday hubby had the day off. I had class all day, but I decided to not attend my evening class so we could get dinner together and catch up. My mom was already here watching Wylie, so we got to go out! Quality time is my love language, so I've been feeling rather unloved the past month since Aaron has been working 7 days a week. Only a month to go before things slow back down again!

Day 8

Today was my very first Mother-Daughter Banquet which I attended as a mother! You were the only boy in a room of 80 women, but I don't think you noticed! You are so well behaved, I don't mind taking you anywhere :)

Day 7

You are a teething fool! Everything goes in your mouth and you drool everywhere. One of your bottom teeth is cutting through so soon enough one of those will be popped up and you'll be flashing your toothy grin! Daddy gnawed on everything when he was little (there are still teeth marks on headboards and windowsills at my inlaws to prove it). I pray you don't destroy things with your alligator teeth, but I'm pretty sure we're doomed!

Day 6

This morning you kept trying to escape off of the bed! I would put you in the middle of the bed so I could get ready for the day and I would look over and you would be trying to wedge yourself between the bed and the pack 'n play. Such a stealth baby :P
